Israel: God’s Prophetic Timepiece Still Ticking

In 2025, the world watched as the Jewish state fought for survival while the nations turned against her. The war in Gaza raged on. Hostages remained captive for months. Iran launched attacks. The United Nations demanded a two-state solution that would divide the land God promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Then President Trump’s administration took decisive action against Iran’s nuclear sites. Living hostages were released. But the world’s hostility only intensified.

The Zechariah 12 Effect

As Nathan Jones observed, “Israel might be winning the war against Hamas and Hezbollah, but they lost the PR war with the rest of the world.” When Prime Minister Netanyahu addressed the United Nations, the room emptied in protest.

This wasn’t just political theater. It was the fulfillment of Zechariah 12:3: “All the nations of the earth will be gathered against Jerusalem.”

The Generation Clock

Since 1948, when Israel became a nation again after 2,600 years of dispersion, the prophetic clock began ticking. Ezekiel 36 and 37 foretold that the “dead nation” would come alive–and the generation that witnessed Israel’s rebirth would see Christ’s return.

As Tim Moore emphasized, “That prophecy says when Jesus brings back the nation of Israel and it’s in the land again and it’s a people group and it’s a mighty nation and they’ve brought a desert to bloom, that is the generation that will see the Lord’s return.”

Tim Moore called Kirk’s death “an inflection point where we seem to be at a crossroads spiritually as a nation.” Some believers responded with bold declarations of faith. Others–tragically–remained silent, afraid to speak.

The assassination exposed the depth of hatred toward Christ and His followers. But it also ignited something powerful: a remnant of believers who refuse to bow, who will not be silenced, who understand the cost of discipleship in these last days.
