A Biblical Perspective on Dealing with the Coronavirus Crisis

A Biblical Perspective on Dealing with the Coronavirus Crisis

David Reagan | Lamb and Lion Ministries

Clive Staples Lewis (1898-1963) is considered to have been one of the greatest defenders of the Christian faith during the 20th Century. For those of you who may not be familiar with him, he was born in Northern Ireland and became a professor of Medieval English Literature, first at Oxford University (1925-1954), and later at Cambridge University (1954-1963).

He committed his life to Christ when he was 32 years old, and he proceeded to write many insightful and inspiring books about Christianity. These included some that have become Christian classics, like The Problem of Pain (1940), The Screwtape Letters (1942), The Chronicles of Narnia (1950-1956), and Mere Christianity (1952). Read More

Why God’s Wrath Is Inevitable

Why God’s Wrath Is Inevitable

“My God [or my Jesus] would never send anyone to Hell.”

This is a statement in one form or another I’ve heard many times, and I’ll bet you have, too.

The world of quasi-Christianity presents a view of Heaven, God, and Jesus as love that holds no person ultimately responsible for sinful activity. While many of the mainline sorts of these folks claim to preach from the same Bible as we do, they deny the concepts of Hell and eternal punishment for sin. These, like the current Catholic pope, hold that everyone will somehow make it to Heaven, because all are loved by God. Read More

Christian Security in the Face of Viral Fear

Christian Security in the Face of Viral Fear

Long-Dreaded Threat

The world is currently grappling with a threat that has long been discussed and dreaded—the outbreak of a disease that has the potential to become a global pandemic.

Widespread epidemics have occurred throughout human history. The Old Testament recorded an outbreak of disease as one of the ten plagues that befell Egypt—both on livestock and on people (Genesis 9). The Philistines experienced an eruption of loathsome sores when they captured the Ark of the Covenant from Israel (1 Samuel 5-6). And Israel itself was inflicted as a punishment for King David’s sinful census (2 Samuel 24). Only when he offered a sacrifice did the Lord relent. Read More

Jan Markell: Rules for Remnant Survival – How to Survive These Last Days

Jan Markell: Rules for Remnant Survival – How to Survive These Last Days

While people in my home state of Minnesota shivered, I spent most of January in California meeting with remnant believers, as well as speaking at churches and conferences. I had much feedback from people, and frankly, a lot of it sounded like this recent e-mail from a gal named Karen. She writes,

If I did not have access to you and a few others online, I would be so isolated! I try to talk to people about issues that are important, including end-times, and they look at me like I am an alien. A few of you help me celebrate my alien status. I feel like a lonely gold fish in a bowl. Prophecy is coming true right before our eyes. You and a few others are making a huge difference with all of us aliens in the world.

So I spoke to and with fellow aliens on this January journey. I even shared a message titled, “Rules for Remnant Survival.” I would like to share a few bullet points from that message on how we can survive these last days. I hope you find these observations and suggestions helpful. Read More

End-of-Days Delirium

End-of-Days Delirium

(9.) The ninth stage moves from moral decay to dependence (America with her growing addiction and servitude to the government—Socialism—has entered this stage). (10.) And the tenth and last stage moves from dependence to bondage.

Dr. Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, is a regular contributor to Fox News and Fox Business channels. The host of one program I regularly listen to on Fox Business is Lou Dobbs. Dr. Jeffress appears on that show weekly.

Dobbs, the program host, recently gave a series of catastrophic possibilities that could soon affect us all:

The coronavirus, he said, was about to blow up into a pandemic. Already, at the time, more than 1,100 people had died. The numbers of those with the coronavirus was exploding in China and had jumped all boundaries to begin proliferating around the globe. The US had at the time only fifteen cases, with no deaths, but the doctors and scientists he had interviewed during the show I last tuned in to and during other programs painted a possibly disastrous scenario even for the US if they couldn’t soon get a handle on how to deal properly with the spread of the disease. Prophetic Pandemic?

Prophetic Pandemic?

Terry James | Prophecy Line

The entire world is on high alert because of the coronavirus that is spreading quickly. More than six hundred have died from the disease as of this writing. China, the country from which it emanates, has millions of people under quarantine.

There is no known cure, and experts report that it will possibly take years to develop a vaccine to cure or prevent its spread. Agencies responsible for controlling the virus fear a pandemic—a worldwide spread of the deadly disease.

Air travel makes the spread of the virus almost impossible to curtail. American Airlines is reportedly being sued by its employees in order to prevent the company from sending crews around the world, placing them at risk for exposure. Read More

New Year 2020 for New World Order

New Year 2020 for New World Order

Terry James | Prophecy Line

Lest one thinks the leftists on the political spectrum are solely responsible for the globalist dementia that seems to be infecting half of America today, we must remember the facts.

George H. W. Bush (Bush 41,) upon taking office following the Reagan years, spoke nineteen times, with ebullient eloquence, about the New World Order he and the world community leaders planned. Suddenly there was no talk of making America great again, or of sovereignty of nations. The emphasis of his speeches was sprinkled with mention of the “thousand points of light” that would make the world at large safer and more prosperous. Read More

Counting Angels: How Many Are There?

Counting Angels: How Many Are There?

Lamb and Lion Ministry

Note: The following is an excerpt from Nathan Jones’ newest book, The Mighty Angels of Revelation.]

One of the grandest spectacles along the parade of events marching towards Christ’s birth was when Heaven’s choir broke out in song way above the heads of the lowly country shepherds. The Gospel of Luke tells of this glorious event in the Christmas story (Luke 2:8-14):

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them… And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

As impressive as that worship service sung by the heavenly choir must have been, the Apostle John described an even more spectacular display of angelic vocals in Revelation 5. John had been taken up to Heaven and had just seen the resurrected Jesus — the Worthy Lamb. He watched as Jesus took the seven-sealed scroll out of the right hand of His Father who sat on the throne. Upon taking this scroll, which was the title deed to the earth, all Heaven erupted into praise! Read More

The Mighty Angels of Revelation – By Nathan Jones – Book Review by Terry James

The Mighty Angels of Revelation – By Nathan Jones – Book Review by Terry James

by Terry James | Prophecy Line

Nathan Jones, my good friend and colleague who serves with Dr. David Reagan’s Lamb and Lion Ministries and is the co-host of the Christ in Prophecy television program, has written what I consider to be the premiere book on Angels. If you don’t have this book nearby to grab and study then you will miss the full scope of what God’s Word has to say about these magnificent creatures.

The information contained therein is stunning in its breadth of exploration and examination. It is, as I have written, the very best, most comprehensive book on the subject that I’ve read. Read More

Thinking on Gog-Magog

Thinking on Gog-Magog

Terry James Commentary

Regions directly north of Jerusalem are being stirred to turmoil by the whirlwinds of prophetic destiny. Therefore it is the responsibility of watchmen on the wall to closely examine all things powerfully affecting that area so concentric to Bible prophecy yet to be fulfilled.

The specific prophecy, of course, involves that given about the Gog-Magog battle in Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39. We have been watching the stage setting for some time. Russia, which we believe to be Rosh, Iran (the greatest part of which is almost certainly Persia), and Turkey, which we believe to be a reference to most of what was ancient Togarmah, have been coalescing to Israel’s north for quite some time. This alone can be seen as nothing short of astonishing. Now, with the whole region directly to Israel’s north lighting up with what looks to be prophetic pyrotechnics, the spiritually attuned discerner’s observational powers should be fully turned on and in focus.
