Martin Sellner doesn’t mince words: “In Vienna, for example, the majority of pupils at all schools are Muslim. So Vienna, the city is already pregnant with an Islamic state.”

The data backs him up. According to recent figures from Vienna’s Department of Education, 41.2% of students in the Austrian capital’s primary and secondary schools now identify as Muslim—the largest single religious group. Christians have fallen to just 34.5% (17.5% Catholic, 14.5% Orthodox). Another 23% claim no religious affiliation.

This isn’t a slow drift. It’s a demographic avalanche.

Just one year ago, the Muslim student population stood at 39.4%. The 1.8-point jump in a single academic year represents accelerating transformation that mirrors what Sellner describes across Western Europe. Consequently, Vienna’s City Councillor for Education Bettina Emmerling has warned that many young Muslims in Vienna are significantly more religious on average and often hold derogatory attitudes—including antisemitism, LGBTQ hostility, and rejection of gender equality.

Nevertheless, political leaders responded not with immigration reform but with proposals for a new mandatory class called “Living in a Democracy.” If you think teaching Islamic supremacists about Western values will reverse civilizational displacement, you’re not paying attention to how this story ends.

German Schools: Christian Kids Converting to Islam Under Pressure

Vienna’s transformation isn’t unique. Germany faces an even more alarming reality.

According to a 2024 study by the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony, 67.8% of Muslim students surveyed believe the Quran is more important than German law. Nearly half (45.6%) think Islamic theocracy is the best form of government. A significant minority said they could understand violence against people who insult Allah or the prophet Mohammed.

But the most chilling finding? German state security officials told Bild newspaper: “More and more parents of German children are turning to counseling centers because the Christian children want to convert so that they are no longer outsiders at school.”

Read that again. Christian children in Germany are converting to Islam out of fear.

German media reports document schools in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Essen where Muslim students comprise over 80% of enrollment, according to 2024 studies. Male Muslim students reportedly intimidate girls who don’t wear hijabs, creating what security officials describe as “parallel societies on school playgrounds.” Teachers, overwhelmed and overworked, cannot respond.

Moreover, Islamist propaganda on TikTok tells Muslim students they are “special” while non-Muslims like Christians are “worthless.” Children are being taught that “only a caliphate is the right form of government” and that they must “oppose the Western way of life.”

This is the Europe Islamic takeover Sellner warns about—and it’s happening in classrooms right now.

The 10-15 Year Window Before Europe Islamic Takeover Is Permanent

“We have a time frame of 10 to 15 years before the ethnic vote, the mass naturalization of migrants basically seals the deal,” Sellner explained. “And in this time frame we can reverse this. We can obviously deport all the illegals but also migrants who are illegally who commit crimes who are an economic or cultural burden to the country need to leave.”

The math is simple: When Muslim populations achieve majority status among voting-age citizens, they can vote European natives into permanent minority status—even if every liberal European converted to supporting remigration tomorrow.

Pew Research Center projections confirm the urgency. Under a high migration scenario, Europe would be 14% Muslim by 2050. Under a medium migration scenario (regular immigration but no refugees), Europe reaches 11.2% Muslim. Even under a zero migration scenario—if every EU country closed its borders today—Europe would still climb to 7.4% Muslim by 2050 simply due to demographic momentum.

But raw percentages obscure the reality on the ground. In major cities—London, Brussels, Paris, Vienna, Berlin—Muslims already dominate specific neighborhoods and school systems. Furthermore, birth rates among native Europeans continue collapsing while Muslim families maintain higher fertility.

As Sellner colorfully described it: “What you see right now in Europe, you know this coyote that runs over the cliff… this is the European demographic right now because the majority we have is only baby boomers who cannot have children anymore.”

Denmark’s own research showed that migrants from Middle East and North Africa countries are net negative contributors—costing more than they contribute over their entire lifetime.

3. Create Charter Cities in North Africa Perhaps Sellner’s most innovative proposal: establish charter cities in North Africa where deportees can live “in safety, in dignity” with hospitals, schools, and mosques. “Rent land for hundreds of years and then create really beautiful areas there… where people can live in safety, in dignity, they can learn a trade there, but they can’t go to Europe.”

Additionally, Sellner advocates structural pressure on “non-assimilated parallel societies”—cutting welfare benefits, enforcing cultural integration requirements, and creating self-deportation incentives. Countries like Sweden and Denmark have already begun implementing such policies.

But What About Integrated Migrants?

When asked about immigrants who’ve genuinely assimilated—started businesses, married Europeans, built lives—Sellner acknowledged nuance: “My wife is not up for remigration. She’s an American and she integrated very well.”

The issue isn’t ethnicity. It’s ideology. Europeans who’ve immigrated (Croatian, Serbian, American) often support remigration themselves because they understand that if replacement migration continues, Europe will completely lose its identity.

Although I don’t agree with Sellner’s emphasis on ethnic and cultural preservation over Gospel proclamation, the First Amendment protects the free exchange of ideas, and his warning about civilizational collapse deserves serious Christian consideration. The question Christians must ask is deeper: Can the Gospel flourish in a caliphate?

Minnesota Proves Islamic Immigration Without Assimilation Fails

The tragedy of Europe’s open borders isn’t just demographic displacement—it’s that Europe failed to evangelize the Muslims flooding its cities. Church buildings became museums while mosques multiplied. Christians retreated into cultural Christianity while Islam advanced with theological conviction.

Europe could have been the greatest missions field of the 21st century. Instead, it’s becoming a graveyard for Gospel witness.

What Christians Must Do: Defend Borders AND Proclaim Christ

The solution isn’t either/or. It’s both/and.

Biblical Foundation for Action:

1. God Established National Boundaries (Acts 17:26) Opposing mass migration that erases national identity isn’t racism—it’s defending God’s design for human flourishing. Nations exist so people can seek God within coherent cultural contexts.

2. Pray for Muslim Salvation (1 Timothy 2:1-4) God desires all people to be saved. While Islam is false, Muslims are precious to God. Pray for their salvation and support missionaries reaching Muslim communities.

3. Support Persecuted European Christians (Hebrews 13:3) “Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them.” European Christians face increasing persecution as Islamic populations grow. Support them practically and prayerfully.

Hope Grounded in God’s Sovereignty, Not Political Outcomes

Even as we document Europe’s demographic collapse, we must anchor hope where it belongs: in God’s absolute sovereignty over nations.

“Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them” (Psalm 2:1, 4).

Nevertheless, God’s sovereignty doesn’t eliminate human responsibility. Until Christ returns, we are called to occupy and do business for the Kingdom (Luke 19:13). The worse the culture gets, the brighter our light must shine (Matthew 5:14-16).

Our calling is not to win culture wars but to be faithful witnesses.

Whether Europe reverses course through remigration or continues its demographic transformation, the church’s mission remains unchanged: Make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20)—including Muslim immigrants flooding Western cities.

The battle is real, but so is our God. He who sits in the heavens laughs at the schemes of men. Our job is simple: Stand firm, speak truth, evangelize Muslims, defend the vulnerable, and trust the One who holds all things in His hands.
