Summary of Opportunities and Events
Against a background of growing racial, ideological, religious, and political divides, plus instances of physical violence, it is time to come together again as One Nation under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.
To that end, attached below is information about a range of groups that work at the local, state, and national level to defend and promote the core Judeo-Christian values and constitutional principles on which America was founded and has prospered. See details below.

We know the Valley is special in so many different ways. It’s in the beauty of the landscape; the productivity of the land; the faith and industry of the people; and the salt-and-light influence of our churches, pastors, and teachers.
It’s also in the great group of Valley legislators who fight for us and our most deeply held values of Life, Faith, Family, and Freedom at the General Assembly in Richmond.
And then there’s the Shenandoah Christian Alliance now anchoring the north end of the Valley in Front Royal around a group of pastors and other civic-minded Christian patriots.
But what about the other side of the mountain Do they have the same love of God & Country that we do here
Are they also concerned about the moral meltdown that we see in so much of our culture and at the top levels of our government If so, who are they, and what are some of the ways that we can partner together to help advance Kingdom values throughout the CommonwealthRead More
Laus Deo! A New Wind of Hope and Change“Make no mistake.
Abortion-on-demand is not a right granted by the Constitution. (Roe v. Wade was) an act of ‘raw judicial power’ (and) has become a continuing prod to the conscience of the nation. … We cannot survive as a free nation when some men decide that others … should be abandoned to abortion … ”President Ronald Reagan, from “Abortion and the Conscience of a Nation”, 1983“
I hereby proclaim and declare the unalienable personhood of every American, from conception to natural death (and have asked) the Legislative branch … to protect the life of each person before birth. President Ronald Reagan, a Presidential Proclamation, 1988
“If every church in America spoke out against abortion, it would fall like a house of cards.” (Susan)
The Context: Three Different Presidents

Appreciated: Great Awakenings Past
Is it time for another Great Awakening in America For example, the First Great Awakening stirred Americans to throw off the tyranny of Great Britain in the mid-1700’s.
It was spearheaded by evangelists like George Whitefield and by a Black-Robed Regiment of pastors like John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg in Woodstock who, on January 21, 1776, preached from Ecclesiastes 3 -- and then led 300 of his friends and neighbors into the War for Independence.
The Second Great Awakening in the 1800’s was also led by pastors like Charles Finney who stirred the people to throw off the shackles of slavery. Like the first, it too was a battle for freedom.Read More
Why Do Some People Shun Engagement
Speaking out on issues of Biblical Truth and Moral Virtue is often a challenge for many of us. Doing so will inevitably invite strong and sometimes hostile push back from people who, for a variety of reasons, don’t want to hear it. The result can get ugly, and we don’t like to get involved.
That is what Tom Minnery describes in his outstanding book entitled Why You Can’t Stay Silent: A Biblical Mandate to Shape Our Culture. He begins by describing the experience of a grassroots movement that became known as the Moral Majority.Read More
For Jerusalem --- Thirteen Principles --- For America
Rebuilding Our Own Broken-Down WallsWhen Nehemiah heard about the broken down walls of Jerusalem, he wept, he mourned, he fasted, and he prayed before the God of Heaven. (Nehemiah 1:3,4) Then he developed a plan, and all the people joined him. Despite strong opposition, they persisted and, in only 52 days, they prevailed in rebuilding the wall! Laus Deo! (Nehemiah: 1-13)
Broken Down Walls: Then and NowHave you ever wondered what it would be like to be taken hostage and taken into exile to Babylon, as Nehemiah was 2500 years ago What did he do to deserve this And then to find out that your friends and family who were left behind in Jerusalem are being mistreated, the city walls have been torn down, and the country is in shambles Read More
“In the beginning, God created Man in His own image, Male and Female created He them. And God saw that it was very good!” (Genesis 1:27-31) “However, going against what God had so clearly created, men became vain in their imaginations. Professing to be wise, they became as fools. Therefore, God gave them over to their unclean lusts and vile affections. Both men and women dishonored their own bodies to do things that are against nature.” (Romans 1:20-32) Crossroads: At Creation -- Male and Female Read More
