There are lots of sayings about the kinds of people living on this earth. Personally, I am fond of this maxim, “There are three types of people in the world: people who make things happen, people who watch things happen, and people who ask, ‘What happened?’”
Like sheep, too many people are not seeing what’s happening, even when it’s right in front of their eyes. Such people become easily fooled by scripted narratives and led astray. They are then lost sheep, and need saving from a dreadful outcome.
Another saying is this, “Don’t matter how much money you got, there’s only two kinds of people: there’s saved people and there’s lost people.” —Bob Dylan
Yes, that Bob Dylan. Of course he’s right. Every Christian believes this to be the absolute truth. It is one of a very few reasons people will cite for placing their fate and faith in Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and King. Even so, there remains some truth to the first bromide. There must be, since we are watching the latest “thing” playing out right before our eyes. That is, the systematic overthrow of the greatest nation in modern history. And many sheep can’t see it.
When agents of the FBI raided the Florida home of former President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, they based their raid on the purported rationale that they suspected Trump of having mishandled classified information, taking home materials meant for the National Archives: according to The New York Times, the search “appeared to be focused on material that Mr. Trump had brought with him to Mar-a-Lago… Those boxes contained many pages of classified documents.” Trump quickly responded with outrage: “After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries. They even broke into my safe!”
We should already know there will be “new” information, allegations, and revelations.
The story will play out, day after day, after day. The objective is to keep the ball in the air long enough to drown out any and all reasonable inquiry and rationale. Judgement has already been passed by some in any event—most notably our very corrupt corporate media. We are expected to believe the FBI had a good, solid, legal reason to raid Trump’s Mar-a-Lago mansion with body armor and semi-automatic weapons. We must now believe that President Trump is a threat to our national security. It’s also very possible the raid backfired.
There is another saying: “It’s all about timing.” —unknown comedian
There are some problems with this story already. At this writing, it does not appear that they could find anything that would implicate Mr. Trump, much less indict him on the basis of treason, or espionage, or inciting the overthrow of the republic, or even tax evasion. Actually, that last issue was being addressed in a New York City courtroom just two days earlier. [In another not-so-unrelated news story, Rep. Scott Perry, (R-PA) had his personal cellphone confiscated by FBI agents while he was traveling with his family.]
There’s no real need to speculate on what this thoroughly corrupt justice department is doing however; according to Andrew McCarthy, (pictured) there is a seven in ten chance Trump will be indicted. It’s at this point we should have grave concerns about the future of America’s political and social landscape. It’s not possible for America to suffer any further polarization without experiencing incalculable upheaval.
Everyone is asking what all this is really about. Obviously, it’s about the January 6, 2021, Capitol protest—also known the as the capitol insurrection. The DOJ is desperate—maybe even frantic—to eliminate any further disruption of the neo-Marxist takedown of the country.
Then there is this saying, “A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves.” ―Edward R. Murrow
All of this brings us to yet another DOJ announcement. If it were possible, this one is even more intriguing. The Biden regime has reportedly launched an investigation into the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) over its handling of alleged sex scandals within the church. On August 12, The Daily Wire broke the news with this observation, “The SBC is the largest protestant faith group in the United States and is among the most politically conservative as 64% of the church’s members are Republican, according to a report from Pew Research Center.” Don’t let that statistic just pass by you. Only 64 percent? I’m sorry, that figure is way too small.
And there you have it, the DOJ—extraordinarily partisan and politically weaponized—is muscling into one of the largest Christian institutions in the US… to do what? Bring justice? Expose a massive problem that lay festering for decades under a rug of subterfuge? Will they—or anyone else—be able to see the hubris in “investigating” behavior for which they hold the patent?
We might also ask, “Who opened the door to the sheep-fold?” The answer is complex, tedious—certainly contentious—and should be obvious. The door was opened from the inside.
Jon Harris’ most recent podcast introduces yet another cast member to the growing list of social justice advocates—one Todd Benkert—now appointed to the SBC’s Sexual Abuse Task Force. Harris includes remarks revealing his social justice-styled biases. Capstone Reports affirms Harris’ concerns about Benkert.
I have written before about Russel Moore. He was very strategic in releasing his resignation letter from the ERLC containing not-so-veiled predictions about sexual allegations within the convention. How many know of Moore’s association with EIT—Evangelical Immigration Table—which, while not a legal entity, has long been identified as associated with the George Soros funded National Immigration Forum? How many have forgotten that Moore has been a “Never-Trumper” from the jump? Is it okay to mix politics and Church?
There is one more saying:
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits.”—Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:15-16 ESV)
The sheep of this country would have no fear of wolves if they are the sheep of His pasture. These sheep know their Shepherd’s voice. They should not be asking what happened; and they should not be sitting around watching things happen either
