For Life, for Gatherings, for Renewal, & for Votes
Summary of Opportunities and Events
Against a background of growing racial, ideological, religious, and political divides, plus instances of physical violence, it is time to come together again as One Nation under God, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All.
To that end, attached below is information about a range of groups that work at the local, state, and national level to defend and promote the core Judeo-Christian values and constitutional principles on which America was founded and has prospered. See details below.
Hurricanes: The Valley Responds
- The Valley Responds: In response to the call last month for help in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Valley contributed 521 buckets of urgently needed items, six pallets of water, and six pallets of other miscellaneous materials for the Steve Wingfield Evangelistic Association to collect and distribute to the victims. An additional $7,000 came in to defray the cost of the shipping. Laus Deo!
Although this project has ended, the need continues in the wake of Hurricanes Irma in Florida and Maria in Puerto Rico. Please go to the following websites for information on how to help: https://disaster.salvationarmyusa.org/give/ and www.samaritanspurse.org/.

Voting Our Values
- Tue., Nov. 7: Please be sure that you are registered to vote for our state-level candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, and Attorney General, as well as for delegates to the VA General Assembly.
This is a critical election in Virginia. Now more than ever, there is a wide chasm between the two major parties and their candidates on our core values of Life, Faith, Family, and Freedom. Their differences are clearly exposed in their party platforms and in their voting records, confirming who believes in these core values and who does not. That gives us a clear choice, and every vote counts.
Onward and Upward, for God and Country,
Dean Welty
