A New Era of Biblical and Constitutional Accountability Under Trump

The Biden-era expansion of the federal government is facing a reckoning. Reports indicate massive document destruction at USAID and an unprecedented closure of the Department of Education. These developments follow the work of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in exposing widespread waste, fraud, and abuse across federal agencies.

The government should operate in accordance with biblical principles of stewardship and integrity, rather than function as a bloated bureaucracy that mismanages taxpayer dollars. Proverbs 13:11 reminds us, “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.” This aligns with constitutional values, where the federal government is limited in scope and the power is returned to the states and the people.

With President Trump at the helm, is this the beginning of true federal downsizing and the restoration of constitutional governance?

USAID: Shredding Documents Amid Corruption Allegations

According to reports, USAID staff were instructed to shred and burn documents at the agency’s former headquarters in Washington, D.C.

This directive raises serious questions:

  • What were they trying to destroy?
  • Why now?
  • What financial records or foreign aid transactions were involved?

ActBlue Connection

Benny’s report suggests that USAID has been used as a slush fund for ActBlue, the Democratic fundraising platform.

Instead of funding humanitarian efforts, money allegedly went to left-wing nonprofits, which then funneled donations back into Democrat campaigns.

This follows years of investigative reporting that has linked small-dollar donations under elderly donors’ names to millions of dollars being routed through ActBlue without their knowledge.

Elon Musk himself has called out ActBlue, stating that the platform has engaged in massive fraud. Additionally, reports indicate that seven ActBlue board members suddenly resigned, and their legal team warned staff about non-disclosure agreements before one lawyer was reportedly locked out of their system.

We would appreciate your donation.

Furthermore, ActBlue raised an unprecedented $2 billion for Kamala Harris in just 100 days, a claim that has raised serious concerns about potential money laundering and donation fraud.

The Department of Education Closure: A Sign of What’s to Come?

In a shocking move, the Department of Education instructed staff to vacate the building by 6 PM, with an official closure for security reasons through Wednesday.

The reason remains unspecified, but it has fueled speculation that the Trump administration may be on the verge of eliminating the Department of Education altogether.

Why Would Trump Shut Down the DOE?

  • Education belongs at the state level. The Founding Fathers never created a federal Department of Education—it was established in 1979 under Jimmy Carter.

  • Massive financial waste. DOGE’s audit uncovered:

    • $4.6 million wasted on coordinating Zoom and in-person meetings.

    • $3 million spent on a report proving that prior reports were ignored.

    • $1.4 million spent on physically observing clerical work.

  • Workforce reductions are already happening. Employees were given the option of a severance package or face termination.

Linda McMahon, the new Secretary of Education, has stated outright that her goal is to significantly reduce the DOE’s size.

From a biblical perspective, education should be directed by parents and local communities rather than a centralized government bureaucracy. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 commands parents to be the primary educators of their children: “These words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children.”

By returning education to the states, we align with both the Constitution and biblical principles.

Government Waste Under the Microscope

Trump’s administration has long advocated for cutting unnecessary government spending, and these developments show that action is being taken:

  • DOGE has identified over $1 trillion in potential cuts.
  • USAID’s foreign aid corruption is under review.
  • Federal bureaucracy is being streamlined to ensure more accountability and less fraud.

Biblical and Constitutional Perspective: The Case for Limited Government

From a biblical standpoint, government waste is a violation of stewardship. Luke 16:10 states, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” A government that squanders resources while neglecting its duty to protect the people is acting outside of God’s ordained role for leadership.

The Constitution also supports these efforts. Article I, Section 8 defines limited federal powers, and nowhere does it mandate a federal Department of Education. The 10th Amendment further clarifies that powers not delegated to the federal government belong to the states and the people.

As Thomas Jefferson wisely stated: “The government closest to the people serves the people best.” The effort to eliminate bureaucratic waste and restore state authority aligns directly with both constitutional law and biblical wisdom.

What’s Next?

These actions suggest a major shift toward shrinking federal control.

If USAID’s document destruction proves to be evidence of criminal activity, we may see investigations and legal repercussions.

Meanwhile, the closure of the Department of Education could be a stepping stone toward its full elimination, ensuring that education policy is returned to local communities and parents.

Is this the beginning of a constitutional restoration of government?

Time will tell, but one thing is clear: Washington D.C. is in panic mode, and accountability is finally coming.
