Virginia Christian Alliance is proud to partner with The Valley Family Forum for this important event in Harrisonburg on May 14th. We hope many of you will be able to attend. Read below for details.

This is a reminder to get your reservations in right away for our 10th anniversary “Celebration of the Family” dinner at 6:30 p.m., Monday, May 14, at the JMU Festival Conference and Student Center. See below for reservation details.

Program Reminder:

Tom-Minnery-2008The keynote speaker will be Tom Minnery, Senior Vice President for Government and Public Policy with Focus on the Family. He is the editor of Focus’ monthly Citizen magazine as well as of CitizenLink, its daily e-mail news service. In addition, he also oversees Focus’s network of 38 Family Policy Councils across America – including Virginia.

However, Minnery is best known to many of us as the author of Why You Can’t Stay Silent: A Biblical Mandate to Shape Our Culture. This is an exceptional book which the Forum uses for its Capstone seminars that have attracted over 200 Valley participants.

Seating is still available for both tables and individual reservations.

However, please confirm right away at family@valleyfamilyforum.org or by calling (540) 438-8966. Single seats are $25/person or $200 for a table of eight. Business and individual sponsorships are also available at varying levels. Call for details.

Warm Regards,

Dean

About the Author

Virginia Christian Alliance
The mission of the VIRGINIA CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE is to promote moral, social and scientific issues we face today from a Biblical point of view. In addition we will refute and oppose, not with hate, but with facts and humor, the secular cultural abuses that have overridden laws and standards of conduct of the past. We will encourage Christians to participate in these efforts through conferences, development of position papers, booklets and tracts, radio/TV spots, newspaper ads and articles and letters-to-the editor, web sites, newsletters and providing speakers for church and civic meetings.
