A Surge of Faith: Young Americans Turn to Jesus, Miracles at the Garden Tomb, and the Church’s Role in Racial Healing
Across college campuses, city streets, and even sports fields, something extraordinary is happening—young Americans are experiencing a surge of faith. A recent Barna Group study found that 13 million more Americans have made commitments to Jesus than just five years ago, with Gen Z and Millennial men leading this revival. David Kinnaman, Barna’s CEO, called it “the clearest indication in more than a decade pointing to a spiritual renewal.”
This is not a manufactured movement. Political voices or marketing campaigns do not lead it. Personal encounters with the living God drive it. College students are coming together in worship. Hundreds are being baptized in public. Football players are glorifying Jesus on national television. The longing for truth, purpose, and healing is being answered in Christ, and young people are boldly stepping forward in faith.
Signs, Wonders, and a Risen Savior
As Christians around the world celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, reports of modern-day miracles are emerging from Jerusalem’s Garden Tomb, where many believe Jesus rose from the grave. Visitors have testified to supernatural healings, including restored eyesight, deliverance from chronic pain, and even a boy paralyzed by hydrocephalus who was able to walk again. These events aren’t fairy tales—they are genuine moments of divine encounter that echo the same power that raised Christ from the dead.
These testimonies remind us: Jesus is alive, and His power still heals, redeems, and transforms lives today. At the Garden Tomb, a Japanese tourist unfamiliar with the gospel was moved to tears as she declared, “I see a man with a crown of thorns.” She had never heard of Jesus’ crucifixion before, but Christ revealed Himself to her anyway. This is the grace of God at work.
The Church’s Call: Be the Light in Racial Healing
In this same season of revival, Bishop Derek Greer is challenging the Church to lead the way in national healing, especially in the area of race. As the founder of National Unity Weekend (June 7–8), he is encouraging churches across the country to preach from 2 Corinthians 5 and to serve their local communities. Last year, churches distributed more than 100,000 pounds of food to the underserved during this weekend of both preaching and practice.
Racial reconciliation is a heart issue, and the Church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is uniquely equipped to address it. As Bishop Greer says, “Reconciliation is where God does all His work.” The body of Christ must rise and model unity, inviting people of all backgrounds into congregations that reflect the diversity of heaven.
Worship That Transcends Technology
Finally, in Washington, D.C., the Museum of the Bible has unveiled a breathtaking new experience: All Creation Sings. This immersive worship exhibit blends 3D laser projection, Christian music, and Scripture to invite visitors into a dynamic praise journey from Genesis to Revelation. Psalm 148 declares, “Let them praise the name of the Lord.” That is precisely what this experience accomplishes—drawing hearts to worship our Creator in awe and joy.
Children, parents, and teachers alike walk away from the exhibit with renewed faith and a sense of wonder. One visitor described it as “a little foretaste of what heaven’s like.” In a culture increasingly distracted by digital noise, All Creation Sings helps recenter hearts on the true meaning of worship—glorifying God with every breath.
Conclusion: Let the Church Steward the Revival
This surge of faith is not a passing trend. It is a call from heaven. Whether in college dorms or ancient tombs, stadiums or sanctuaries, Jesus is drawing people to Himself. As believers, we must embrace this moment, not merely with applause, but with action. Let’s disciple the next generation and share our testimony. Let’s lead the way in healing, truth, and grace.
The power comes from the Lord. The glory belongs to Him. And the time is now.
Praise God for this report. When I hear testimonies about revival I skeptically wonder how that could be with such a lifeless church. Then I remembered what happened after Pentecost when 3000 came and then repented of my unbelief by failing to consider the power and glory of the Spirit who comes with fire. Barna isn’t peddling Christianity Today subscriptions they’re a credible faithful research group. Praise the Lord!
The media has created the notion that there’s a racism boogeyman hiding under every rock. Just like the fake climate hysteria which was fostered by the globalists racism has turned episodic events into an epidemic. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson the quintessential race hustlers made truck loads of money from corporations in exchange for their allegiance. Thomas Sowell has been calling this charade out for decades while white liberals make themselves feel better by supporting Marxist Obama who saddles us with Obamacare helping turn our medical establishment into a financial boondoggle and closer to a single payer system.
Even though the enemy is running wild (1Jn 5:19) the tomb is still empty Hallelujah!
