Segment One: What Does the Bible SayFortress of Faith Tom Wallace and Shahram Hadian

Today we are going to look at the issue of homosexuality. The Bible calls it sodomy. It doesn’t matter what you call it, it is sexual sin just like adultery and fornication. God says that it is an abomination. Man can rename it and call it anything he wants, but it is still sexual sin.

We will be looking at what Islam teaches on this subject and how it deals with this sin. We will see that there is a bit of hypocrisy on this issue within Islam. We will see why we don’t hear Islam speaking out and condemning homosexuality.

Before we look at homosexuality in Islam I would like to deal with homosexuality in America. We will soon hear from the Supreme Court on this issue. It is my hope that the Court will say that this is an issue that should not be dealt with by the federal government.

I hope the Court will determine that the federal courts have overstepped their bounds in overturning what the states have voted on. Every state that has voted on this issue has determined that marriage is between a man and a woman. Federal courts have overruled what the states have decided by a vote of the people. The 10th Amendment places limits on what the federal courts and federal government can do. This is a state’s rights issue.

10th Amendment

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Idaho actually voted to amend their constitution to protect traditional marriage and keep it between one man and one woman. It cleared the state legislature and was signed by the governor. A federal appellate court overturned it. The court not only overturned the amendment, it actually forced Idaho to accept homosexual marriage.

This is not unlike the Roe vs. Wade decision on abortion. I believe that at the time there were 46 states with laws protecting life and they were all struck down. Again we have the majority of the states having determined and issue (marriage is between one man and one woman) and the courts overturning it.

In Alabama Judge Roy Moore is the supreme justice of the state and he has told all the probate judges they don’t have to do same-sex marriages. It would be great if we had more state officials who would stand up for state’s rights.

The Apostle Paul said that the end result of rebellion against God is unnatural sexual sin.

Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

What will it mean for our nation if our Supreme Court allows sexual sin to be codified into federal law? If this comes to pass it could be catastrophic for our nation. This is why it is so important that Christians pray for this particular decision. If the Court makes the right decision it will not turn everything around, but it is a line that once crossed could really bring the judgment of God on this nation.

The fact that we have reached this point is an indication that God’s judgment has already started. You will note from this passage that when man’s rebellion reaches a certain point God actually gives them up to this kind of thing and to a reprobate mind.

There are those who say the Romans 1:26-27 has nothing to do with homosexuality. I don’t see how any thinking person could say such a thing. The passage is very clear. Only those with a reprobate mind could say otherwise.

The Old Testament is also clear on the issue of sodomy.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

There is a pastor in England who was found guilty of a hate crime for quoting this verse. If we don’t stand up against hate crime laws this is coming to America. We warn pastors who will not take a stand against things like this that they are actually contributing to the problem. We already see businesses being shut down because of this kind of thing. Churches are not untouchable as many pastors think. It has happened in England and it is happening in Canada. It can happen here.

The hate crime laws are intimidating churches and causing them to censure themselves. Pastors in Canada are saying that because of the few cases that have been taken before the Human Rights Commission for using verses like this, other churches are censuring themselves out of fear. We are seeing the same thing here in America.

As we saw in Romans 1, homosexuality is unnatural. It violates natural law. You cannot violate natural law without consequences. Our founding fathers understood this. A little later I will give you a quote from George Washington showing how well they understood this principle.

In our day we need pastors with the courage to stand for righteousness. We need men who will stand up for the precepts of God no matter what the cost. I fear that we will not succeed in this because statistics tell us that 90% of our pastors are already afraid to preach on controversial issues.

If the Supreme Court comes down on the side of homosexuality it will become a crime to speak out against this sin and to refuse to perform homosexual weddings. You can be sure that if this happens you will see homosexuals gong to conservative churches and demanding that they perform same-sex weddings. We can be sure that if the churches refuse it will go to court. Since we already see where the courts are leaning on these issues we can be sure there will be fines and jail sentences.

It is important that church members stand behind their pastor and let him know that they want him to stand for righteousness. We must keep our pastors in our prayers. It is getting more difficult to be a pastor that is faithful to God’s Word. Pastors need to know that their congregations have their backs. If something happens they need to know that their churches will take care of their families.

It may take some pastors going to jail to wake up this country. We need to be willing to stand for righteousness if we want our children to have the same freedoms that we enjoy.

Segment Two : God’s Judgment Based on Man’s Actions or Absense of Action

The issues that are plaguing our nation are the judgment of God because we have turned our backs on Him and His precepts. The nation of Israel suffered the same things when they turned against God.

The founders of our nation understood that for our type of government to exist the people must have Christian values. They understood that God’s laws, as summarized in the Then Commandments, must be the foundation of a nation if we want God’s hand of protection.

Our founders wanted us to maintain Christian values but today our leaders are telling us that we must change our religious views. Hillary Clinton had some interesting things to say to the Christian community about abortion. She said that Christians must change their religious beliefs. Click here to listen to what she had to say.

She is telling Christians that we can no longer have views that are based upon God’s precepts. This is in perfect agreement with what President Obama has said. Basing his comments on “my own Christian faith,” President Obama told the Catholic-Evangelical Leadership Summit that churches should spend less time focusing on abortion and same-sex “marriage.” Here is what the President had to say:

When it comes to what are you really going to the mat for, what’s the defining issue, when you’re talking in your congregations, what’s the thing that is really going to capture the essence of who we are as Christians, or as Catholics, or what have you, [poverty] is oftentimes viewed as a ‘nice to have’ relative to an issue like abortion.

He is saying that the churches need to stop focusing on abortion and same-sex marriage. Remember he is talking to Catholics and Evangelicals. Their number one issue is life. He says they should stop focusing on these issues and start focusing on the poor.

When did Hillary and Obama become clergy? When did they become experts on religious matters? What gives them the right to tell us what religious views we can have?

President Obama, through Susan Rice, laid out his most important national security issues. Here is a list of what they are:

  • Climate change
  • Equality for civil rights for the LGBT community (homosexuality)

These are his primary concerns for our national security? What about ISIS, Iran, and North Korea?

This summer Obama is planing a trip to Kenya. The pastors there are asking him to stop preaching homosexuality. Here is what they said in a letter they sent to him.

President Barack Obama is welcome to visit Kenya this summer — but please, leave the preaching to us

They said this because he is coming to Kenya to promote homosexuality.

How are we to respond to these leaders who are trying to get us to give up our deeply held religious beliefs? We must decide, as the early Christians did, are we going to obey God or man?

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. Acts 4:19

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. Acts 5:29

This brings up an important question; is it right for Christians to take part in civil disobedience? I want to be clear on this issue. When man makes a law that is contrary to God’s law, a man of God must obey God. The Bible also tells us to submit to the higher powers. If the government says you can’t preach against abortion, homosexuality, etc. or that you must marry a homosexual couple, you must say no! When you do, you submit to the consequences of your stand for God. The consequences may be a fine or even jail.

So far no church has ever lost its tax exempt status for standing for the precepts of God. The only thing you cannot do on the church’s time and dime is tell the congregation who to vote for. You can, however, preach what God says on moral issues and point out which candidates violate those precepts and which candidates support them.

Islam and Homosexuality: Islam Teaches that Homosexuality Merits the Death Penalty

There is much more that I could say on these issues but I want to talk about Islam’s position on homosexuality. There is a lot of hypocrisy on the part of Islam concerning this issue. I think that every non-Muslim knows that Islam teaches against homosexuality.

The question we must ask is; Why doesn’t Islam speak out against this sin in the West?

Islam teaches that homosexuality merits the death penalty. Within Islam there is no redemption for those who struggle with this sin. Christians believe those who struggle with this sin can be redeemed, rescued, and delivered from this sin through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

There are several reasons for Muslims not speaking out against homosexuality. One of the reasons is that while we in the West are killing our population base through abortion and the promotion of homosexuality which does not produce children, Muslims are increasing their population base by having lots of children. It is a numbers game. The less non-Muslims that are born and the more Muslims that are born, the greater influence Islam has in a society.

One of the reasons the Muslims don’t attack the women’s movement is that women involved in this movement are more interested in their career and therefore have less interested in having children. It comes down to increasing the Muslim influence in society.

The reason Muslims don’t push back against the feminist movement, homosexuality, and abortion is that it helps them take over a society. Believe me, if they can take over and install Shariah Law, these things will be eliminated in a moment.

Segment Three: Islam and Muhammad On Homosexuality

Now I want to look at what the Qur’an and the Prophet say on the subject of homosexuality. When there is a question on what the Qur’an says they go to the Suna to find out what Muhammad did. This is not often necessary because the Qur’an is very clear on the issue.

Qur’an (7:83-84)“…For ye practice your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds…. And we rained down on them a shower (of brimstone)”

This is an account that is borrowed from the Biblical story of Sodom. Muslim scholars through the centuries have interpreted the “rain of stones” on the town as meaning that homosexuals should be stoned, since no other reason is given for the people’s destruction. (The story is also repeated in suras 27 and 29).

Qur’an (4:16)“If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone”

This is the Yusuf Ali translation. The original Arabic does not use the word “men” and simply says “two from among you.” Yusuf Ali may have added the word “men” because the verse seems to refer to a different set than referred to in the prior verse (explicitly denoted as “your women”). In other words, since 4:15 refers to “your women”, 4:16 is presumably written to and refers to men.

This verse says that if they repent and amend they are to leave them alone. This is a contradiction to the practice of Muhammad.

Qur’an (7:81)“Will ye commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you?”

Again, this is from the biblical story of Sodom.

It is evident that Islam teaches that homosexuality is a sin, but does it teach that homosexuals should be killed? Let’s look at what Islam teaches about the punishment for this sin. We will start with the Shariah Law book, the Reliance of the Traveller, which is accepted by all schools of Islamic thought.

On page 664 in section p which deals with those things that would be sin in the eyes of Allah it says:

p17.0 SODOMY AND LESBIANISM p17.1 In more than one place in the Holy Koran, Allah recounts to us the story of Lot’s people, and how He destroyed them for their wicked practice. There is consensus among both Muslims and the followers of all other religions that sodomy is an enormity. It is even viler and uglier than adultery.

It then quotes passages of the Qur’an for its rulings like Surah 6:164-166. It then goes into what the Prophet had said in the Hadith:

Kill the one who sodomizes and the one who lets it be done to him.

May Allah curse him who does what Lot’s people did.

Not only are they to be killed, they are to be cursed by Allah.

The Hadith of Abu Dawud in 4448 says:

If a man who is not married is seized committing sodomy, he will be stoned to death.”

Note the implicit approval of sodomizing one’s wife.

It is said that the first successor to Muhammad had a homosexual burned at the stake. There is some question as to whether or not this is true. There is another story concerning the 4th caliph that says he ordered a sodomite to be thrown from the minaret of a mosque and then he ordered him to be stoned.

One Islamic commentator blended the two together. He said the sodomite should be throng off the tallest building in town and then stoned if he is still alive.

We see this being carried out by ISIS today. They throw those who are identified as homosexuals off of buildings and if they are still alive they are stoned to death. They are following the example of the caliphs of Islam to a T. There is no doubt that Islam considers homosexuality a sin and that it is to be dealt with by capital punishment.

There are contractions within Islam on this issue. Most of you know about the promise of the martyrs and the 72 virgins. There are also passages that say they get young boys or perpetual youths. Here is one from Surah 76:19:

There wait upon them, upon the martyrs, an immortal youth, who when thou seest thou would take them for scattered pearls.

The imagery of scattered pearls shows something that is precious. The idea here is that you have young boys that have not been tainted, that have not been picked. They are preserved to be picked by the martyr.

Some will say this is not what this means, but we see pedophilia rampant withing Islam. It is not just with things like Muhammad with his 6 year old wife when he consummated the marriage when she was 9 years old. We also see it with young boys who are seen as flowers to be picked. This is sick behavior, but it shows the contradiction between the piety of Islam and the actual practice concerning homosexuality.

There are some things that we just can’t deal with here, but let me say that there are things with the treatment of women and other things that go on in the Islamic world that would turn our stomachs. It is not only the women that are abused, but also young boys. The deeper you get into what is practiced in the Islamic community, the more you see this kind of thing.

Islam condemns this practice among consenting adults, but it is OK if it is done to a young “virgin” boy.

Segment Four: Ishmael and Homosexuality

What we are going to look at next may be the root of the contradictions within Islam on this subject. Remember, Ishmael is the father of the Arab people and Islam comes from Arabia. Not all Muslims are Arabs, but Islam started with them.

There is something that Ismael did to Isaac in Genesis 21.

And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking. Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. Genesis 21:9-10

We don’t know what Ismael did, but it was enough to cause Sarah to demand that he and his mother be kicked out. I heard that Ismael had sodomized Issac. I had never heard anything like that. At first I rejected this idea but then I decided to study it out. I am coming to the conclusion that there is some validity to this argument.

The Hebrew word is tsachaq and it means to laugh outright (in merriment or scorn); by implication, to sport. There are 6 places where this word appears. Three of the 6 very clearly indicate sexual activity.

  • Isaac and Rebekah – Gen 26:8. Isaac told Pharaoh that Rebekah was his sister. But later Pharaoh sees them ‘sporting’ with each other. It must have been sexual as Pharaoh deduced she was his wife.
  • Joseph and Potiphar’s wife – Gen 29:14,17. Joseph is accused of raping (Mocking) her.
  • Dancing naked around the Golden Calf Ex. 33:6 translated ‘play’ See Vs. 25. they were naked.

Then there are two of the accounts that could be sexual.

  • Judges 16:25 The Philistines bring Samson to the Temple of Dagon to publicly humiliate and mock The made ‘Sport’ of him. In the middle east culture, the greatest insult to a person is to sodomize them.
  • Gen 21:9 Perhaps Ishmael sodomized Isaac as a insult. What ever he did to ‘mock’ him, it was so bad that Sarah saw it and demanded for Abraham to expel him and Hagar from the house.

The point that I want to make is that this kind of sodomy was used to humiliate someone. We know that this goes on within the culture of Islam. It is considered the greatest humiliation to someone. It has even been reported on the news that ISIS has done this.

Judgment On America

Our nation is in trouble. We don’t agree with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn on everything he says, but what he said in Washington, DC recently explains the trouble we find our nation in. He was dealing with the upcoming decision by the Supreme Court I mentioned earlier. The gist of the message was are we going to follow Baal or are we going to follow God. He referenced a quote from Gorge Washington.

“The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of Order and Right which Heaven itself hath ordained.”

You can’t expect God to bless a nation that disregards God’s laws and precepts. In his speech Rabbi Cahn said:

The Supreme Court opens its sessions with the words: “God save the United States and this Honorable Court.” But if then—if this honorable court should overrule the word of God and strike down the eternal rules of Order and Right that Heaven itself hath ordained, how then will God save it?

Supreme Court Justices, can you judge the ways of God? Can you, with manmade verdicts, overrule the eternal laws of God? There is another court, and there is another Judge. And before Him, all men and all judges will give account. If a nation’s high court should pass judgment on the Almighty, should you then be surprised if the Almighty should pass judgment on that court and that nation?

In the Book of Jeremiah, it is written: “Has a nation ever exchanged its gods? Yet my people have exchanged their glory for that which cannot help them.” Let us not pretend as to what we are now doing. We are doing that which Israel did on the altars of Baal. We are exchanging our God for idols, our light for darkness, and our glory for that which cannot save us. Are we ready to risk that which comes on the other side of that exchange, the day when the blessings of Heaven are removed from the land?

You can listen to the whole message by clicking here or viewing below:

We are seeing the rejection of God in America just as we have seen in Europe. The result in Europe is that Islam is taking over. The dream of the secularist and the humanist is not working. They think we can live without God. Man was created to worship God, and even in his fallen state, man will worship something. As we in America kick the God of the Bible out of our nation, the false God of Islam is coming in.

If the people of America, especially those who claim to believe the Bible, don’t repent and turn back to God and His precepts, all is lost for our nation. Please pray that America will turn back to God and not to Baal.

A concluding thought for homosexuals and Muslims

We want you to know that we don’t hate you and God doesn’t hate you. God hates sin. You do what you do because of your sin nature, not because of your genetic makeup.

We want all people to come to Christ. Christ can free you from the shackles of sin, including homosexuality. Like adultery and fornication, homosexuality is sexual sin. Many people in America are in the grip of these sins. There is deliverance for all who will come to Christ on His terms.

Our purpose is not to bash you. It is to inform you that one day you will stand before a holy God and answer for all of your sins, not just the sexual ones. The only deliverance is in Jesus Christ.

The same is true for Muslims. Our desire is not to put you down, it is that you might be delivered from Islam which is a religion of death. It asks you to die for your god if you are to have any hope of Heaven. Christianity’s God died for you that you might have a place with Him in Heaven.

Won’t you turn to Him today and be delivered from death and sin?
