Special Guests: VCA Leaders Don Blake and Greene Hollowell
A Special Valley
We know the Valley is special in so many different ways. For example, we have the beauty of the landscape; the productivity of the land; the faith and industry of the people; and the salt-and-light influence of our churches, pastors, and teachers.
We also have a great group of Valley legislators who stand up and fight for our most deeply held values of Life, Faith, Family, and Freedom at the General Assembly in Richmond when it is in session, as it is now.
But do we stand alone in this fight? How about those on the other side of the mountain? Do they have the same love of God & Country that we do here? Are they also concerned about the mis-direction of America, and willing to step up and do something about it? If so, who are they, and how can we work together to help advance Kingdom values in Virginia?
Friends across the Mountain
For starters, we have groups like The Family Foundation, which has been there for over 25 years. But there are also newer groups like the Virginia Christian Alliance, which has been in the news recently calling for the impeachment of Attorney General Mark Herring. Who are they, what do they do, and why does it matter?
That’s why we have invited some good Friends from Richmond to help us kick off this new series called “A Celebration of God and Country”.
