The message of Malachi was directed to a people plagued by corrupt priests and wickedness. The prophet confronted the people of Israel for their hypocrisy, infidelity, divorce, pride, greed and arrogance. The nation was so complacent in their sin that God’s Word no longer had any impact on them………is this where we are in Virginia today?
Where is the outcry when newly elected Attorney General Mark Herring turns away from the law of the Commonwealth and spits on it by abusing the powers of his new office to advance the radical agenda the prophet Malachi spoke of in holy scriptures?
We call on Virginians to come forward and sign the petition to impeach Mark Herring for his refusal to preserve, protect and defend a provision of the Bill of Rights of the Virginia Constitution placed there by the people.

Petition for Impeachment of Attorney General Mark Herring
As Virginians, we, the undersigned, believe our Commonwealth is entitled to be represented by an Attorney General who will not betray our Constitution by joining litigants in an effort to have its duly-adopted provisions declared illegal.
Our collective, informed decision to preserve the sacred institution of marriage in Virginia constitutes sound public policy and is supported by compelling legal arguments.
Under these circumstances, we, the undersigned, hereby call for the impeachment of Attorney General Mark Herring, who has chosen to actively fight against this Constitutional provision rather than fulfill his duty to defend it.
