Happy New Year To All!

Starting February 6, 2017

When we closed out our Monday night video series at the end of November 2016, I thought we would restart the group in January. Well, the Virginia General Assembly started, we got a new President and it has taken a while to get settled down.

Last year we had 18 Monday video nights covering three topics. I believe those who attended the series were pleased. Where else can you see and discuss these topics? People are not likely to purchase and watch educational videos on their own and the churches are not likely talking about issues we would present. Also, we have rearranged the room to hold 72 “church” size chairs or 50 seated at tables. Perhaps one of the best parts of last year’s series was the discussion period after the video. Most night’s people stayed an hour after the video.

February 6th 6:30 – 8:00 PM – Indoctrination: Public school and the decline of Christianity in America

This is a timely topic as new policies are being discussed in our Virginia General Assembly and our new President rolls out it’s new education agenda of school choice.

February 13th 6:30 – 8:00 PM – Eye to Eye with William Koenig: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel

Another timely presentation in light of the recent United Nations Resolution and our nation having a new President.

February 20th – April 3rd 6:30 – 8:00 PM – Creation: Answers in Genesis/Ken Ham – 6 Night Series

This was the most suggested topic of last year’s group.

February 20th – Defending the Faith – Giving a reasoned and logical defense of Christianity

February 27th – Where did God come from? – The truth about natural selection

March 6th – The Young Earth

March 13th – The Big Bang and Astronomy

March 20th – A New Reformation

March 27th – Rocking the Culture and Review

Last year when people missed a session they often came at 5:00 PM the next week to make up the previous weeks video.

Please let me know if you would like to attend our VCA Monday night video sessions. It will be important to know how many to set the room up for. I look forward to seeing you!
