A Celebration of God and Country, with Dean Welty
Do you sometimes think – perhaps secretly – that the Valley is the Center of the Universe? That if only everyone else thought like we did, and had our values, the world would be a better place?
VFIA #191 Friends from Richmond – for God and Country: Part I from Dean Welty on Vimeo.
Dean Welty,
Well, the Valley is very special. There’s the beauty of the mountains and productivity of the land; the faith and industry of the people; the salt-and-light influence of our churches, pastors, and teachers; and the commitment of our business and civic leaders. That is why we believe that when the Valley speaks, the Commonwealth should listen — and the nation should follow!
So how is it on the other side of the mountain? Do people in Richmond feel the same way about where they live? Do they have the same love of God & Country that we do? Are they also concerned about the direction of America, and willing to step up and do something about it? If so, who are they, and how can we work together to help advance Kingdom values in Virginia?
That’s why we have invited Friends from Richmond to help us kick off this new series called “A Celebration of God and Country”.
