A Pro-Homosexual Day in Public Schools: April 17 | Take Action

If you have school age children, contact your administration as soon as possible to ask this specific question: Will your school be allowing students to hold the Day of Silence on April 17 and refuse to speak on that day? If the administration answers “yes” or dodges the question keep your children home that day.

The Day of Silence is the queen of all the numerous homosexuality-affirming activities that take place in public schools. It is organized and promoted by the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN), a pro-homosexual activist group masquerading in the schools as an educational group.

GLSEN urges students to refuse to speak all day, including during academic classes, which transforms instructional time. Administrators permit students to refuse to speak in class, and teachers feel compelled to create lesson plans to accommodate the refusal to speak on the parts of students. Teachers feel that if they don’t accommodate student-refusal to speak, they will be seen as supporting the bullying of self-identified homosexual students.

Information tables are set up in the cafeterias, PA Announcements are made promoting the event and a school-wide assembly is held.

We would appreciate your donation.

Parents do not receive notification about the Day of Silence and most parents are unaware that this pro-homosexual activism day exists in the life of their child while at school. Leftists know that it’s easier to indoctrinate 16-year-olds than 36-year-olds.

GLSEN promotes the Day of Silence as an “anti-bullying” effort, but it’s not. The sole objective is to advance the Left’s social, moral, and political beliefs and goals. GLSEN seeks to advance the belief that all public expressions of moral disapproval of homosexual activity are bullying.

Oppose the appropriation of public education for the promotion of homosexuality by keeping your children home the Day of Silence, April 17.

APRIL 17
KEEP YOUR CHILDREN HOME FROM SCHOOL.
They call it The Day of Silence. It is a political activist day.

 Action to Take:

1. Call the school administrator and ask if they are allowing the homosexual club (Gay Straight Alliance) to hold a Day of Silence on April 17th?

2. Is there a school wide assembly?

3. Are information tables going to be set up in the cafeteria or hallways?

4. Are there going to be PA announcements promoting the Day of Silence?

If the answers are YES, keep your children home. GLSEN, a prohomosexual activist group holds the Day of Silence each year in the public school. The day is disguised as a day to call attention to the “bullying” of glbt students. Students remain silent in protest.

The OBJECTIVE of the day is to promote homosexuality and label those who hold to conservative moral beliefs as bullies.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. We want every high school in Virginia called and asked the above questions.
Then we will post the pro-homo friendly schools for all VIRGINIANS to see.

The mission of the VIRGINIA CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE is to promote moral, social and scientific issues we face today from a Biblical point of view. In addition we will refute and oppose, not with hate, but with facts and humor, the secular cultural abuses that have overridden laws and standards of conduct of the past.
