VCA Monday Night Video Group: Starting Back February 6, 2017

VCA Monday Night Video Group: Starting Back February 6, 2017

Happy New Year To All! Starting February 6, 2017 When we closed out our Monday night video series at the end of November 2016, I thought we would restart the group in January. Well, the Virginia General Assembly started, we got a new President and it has taken a while to get settled down. Last year we had 18 Monday video nights covering three topics. I believe those who attended the series were pleased. Where else can you see and discuss these topics People are not likely to purchase and watch educational videos on their own and the churches are not likely talking about issues we would present. Also, we have rearranged the room to hold 72 “church” size chairs or 50 seated at tables. Perhaps one of the best parts of last year’s series was the discussion period after the video. Most night’s people stayed an hour after the video. Read More

Reason For Hope 2016 Conference November 11 & 12, 2016

Reason For Hope 2016 Conference November 11 & 12, 2016

Restoring Biblical principles to a confused and chaotic world November 11 & 12, 2016 Virginia Beach, Virginia Do not be afraid of them (your enemies). Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses. (Nehemiah 4:14 NKJV) Today, the very core of our national character is barely recognizable in light of our nation’s founding principles and virtues. The result: confusion and, often, capitulation. Often, as American Christians we are fearful that we are losing the “culture war” and there is no hope for the restoration of our nation. But, the Apostle Peter encourages us to “have no fear of them, nor be troubled,” and to have a ready defense to anyone who asks you for the “reason for the hope that is in you.” Read More

A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. Read More

Saturday June 11, 2016 Save Lives with Sidewalk Counseling Training

Saturday June 11, 2016 Save Lives with Sidewalk Counseling Training

Sidewalk Advocate Training Hosted by: Virginia Christian Alliance Join our team here in Richmond! Are you looking for a sidewalk counseling program that will give you the training, tools, technology and ongoing support you need Sidewalk Advocates for Life is a national, peaceful, prayerful sidewalk advocacy program training people to most effectively offer loving, life-affirming alternatives to women and men as they enter the abortion facility. We take a law-abiding approach to out reach as we seek to remove the sense of crisis from those who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. We seek to be the hands and feet of Christ as we offer real choices – with real support – to those who, ironically, may feel they have no choice. While we provide crisis intervention on the sidewalk to women headed into the abortion Center, we recognize we can only go so far. Our interaction must go beyond pamphlets and persuasion to an offer of help from local pregnancy resource centers and others in the community who are both willing and able to support expectant mothers through their pregnancy and beyond.
