“In God We Still Trust”

When our founding fathers
Bravely formed this nation
They spoke of Him as our creator
When they wrote their declaration
He was there from the beginning
That’s how we’ve come this far
Our faith in Him throughout our history
Made us who we are

We would appreciate your donation.

You place your hand on His Bible
When you swear to tell the truth
His name is on our greatest monuments
And all our money too
And when we pledge allegiance
There’s no doubt where we stand
There is no separation
We’re one nation under Him

In God We Still Trust
Here in America
He’s the one we turn to
Every time the goin’ gets rough
He is the source of all our strength
The One who watches over us
Here in America
In God We Still Trust

Now there are those among us
Who wanna push Him out
And erase His name from everything
This country’s all about
From the school house
To the courthouse
They’re silencing His Word
Now it’s time for all believers
To make our voices heard

In God We Still Trust
Here in America
He’s the one we turn to
Everytime the goin’ gets rough
He is the source of all our strength
The One who watches over us
Here in America
In God We Still Trust
Here in America
Here in America
Here in America
In God We Still Trust

About the Author

Virginia Christian Alliance
The mission of the VIRGINIA CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE is to promote moral, social and scientific issues we face today from a Biblical point of view. In addition we will refute and oppose, not with hate, but with facts and humor, the secular cultural abuses that have overridden laws and standards of conduct of the past. We will encourage Christians to participate in these efforts through conferences, development of position papers, booklets and tracts, radio/TV spots, newspaper ads and articles and letters-to-the editor, web sites, newsletters and providing speakers for church and civic meetings.
