A Christian and Constitutional Reflection on the Momentum of the Trump Administration
By Jeff Bayard | Fueled by strong truth, bold conviction, and a splash of righteous fire.
Securing the Nation: God-Ordained Justice in Action
Romans 13 reminds us that governing authorities are “God’s servant[s] for your good.” When that authority punishes evil and protects the innocent, it aligns with God’s design. In Week Ten, President Trump empowered ICE and law enforcement to apprehend violent criminals. One arrest involved a top MS-13 gang leader. This is not merely policy — it is Biblical justice, safeguarding the innocent from evil (Proverbs 21:15).
Furthermore, the administration signed executive orders to secure our elections. These actions require proof of citizenship to vote and aim to eliminate foreign interference. In doing so, the administration defends our Republic. This is constitutionalism in action, upholding Article IV and the rule of law.
Economic Revival and Stewardship of Resources
The Apostle Paul urged believers to “work with your hands… so that you may not be dependent on anybody” (1 Thess. 4:11–12). President Trump’s economic plan echoes this ethic. For example, Hyundai is investing $20 billion in America. Schneider Electric will invest another $700 million in U.S. energy infrastructure. These are not just economic wins — they reflect God-honoring labor.
Additionally, the administration cut unnecessary red tape. Agencies like the Department of Energy and USDA were streamlined. As a result, taxpayer funds now support citizens rather than bloated bureaucracies. This reflects wise stewardship (Matthew 25:14–30).
Restoring Truth in Education and Culture
President Trump’s administration is also addressing deception in public education. It has launched investigations into schools that promote gender ideology and conceal it from parents. This decision affirms God’s design for the family (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 6:1–4). Parents — not the government — are called to raise their children in truth.
Moreover, the administration removed anti-American propaganda from federal museums and parks. In contrast to previous years, the government is now promoting history grounded in truth. After all, nations rise or fall based on the truths they teach their children (Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
Standing Against Evil: Global and Domestic
President Trump continues to confront evil both globally and at home. For instance, the Department of Justice seized crypto funds meant for Hamas. Additionally, the Commerce Department blacklisted Chinese firms engaged in intellectual theft. These actions protect American values and freedom (Ephesians 6:12).
In another case, President Trump pardoned Devon Archer. Archer had testified in the Biden corruption scandal and was targeted for it. Therefore, the pardon sends a message: truth must never be silenced. It is a stand against the misuse of justice.
Conclusion: A Call to Discernment and Engagement
As Sandy Szwarc reminded us in A Brief Retrospective on Efforts to Transform America to a New Social Order, globalist elites seek to erase God’s image from man. Their aim is to redefine morality and centralize control. However, the Trump administration pushes back. Its actions defend both Biblical truth and the Constitution.
As Christians, we must remain alert. Let us stay informed, speak truth, and pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1–2). This week’s wins point to something greater than politics. They point to a nation returning to God’s Word and constitutional order.
Let us watch, pray, and act.
