A New Front in the Battle for Biblical Sexuality

For over 15 years, the Virginia Christian Alliance (VCA) has stood on the front lines of America’s cultural battle over sexual morality. Since the launch of our website in 2010, we have warned of the consequences of turning from God’s design for sex, marriage, and identity. Today, one of the most urgent threats to biblical truth is the normalization—and federally funded promotion—of transgender ideology.

Why Transgender Medical Funding Must Be Stopped

For over 15 years, the Virginia Christian Alliance (VCA) has opposed sexual immorality through biblical truth. Since 2010, we’ve covered transgender medical funding as a rising threat to children, the family, and God’s order. The push to normalize and fund gender-transition procedures calls for a bold, scriptural response.

Biblical Truth About Gender and Transgender Medical Funding

Genesis 1:27 states that God made humans male and female. This clear distinction reflects His divine will. Sadly, transgender medical funding encourages individuals to alter their God-given identity. Instead of affirming truth, these practices support confusion and rebellion against God’s design.

Transgender Medical Funding and Its Moral Impact

Hormone treatments and surgeries change the body, but not the soul. These procedures harm people instead of helping them. By funding such actions, society affirms sin. Christians must speak up. We cannot remain silent while truth is denied.

Hope Through Policy: Trump’s Actions on Transgender Medical Funding

Thankfully, there is good news. In 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14187. It blocks federal funding for transgender medical procedures in children. Another policy, Executive Order 14168, restores male and female definitions in federal agencies.

These actions reflect moral courage and allow truth to return to public policy. The church should support these measures while continuing to proclaim God’s Word.

The Church’s Duty in a Confused Culture

We must speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). Gender confusion is not solved by surgery. Only the Gospel can heal the heart. Let us disciple those struggling. Show compassion. But always speak truth.

Conclusion: End Transgender Medical Funding, Restore Biblical Identity

Transgender medical funding is not just a political problem. It’s a spiritual battle. God’s truth must be lifted high. VCA will continue to stand on God’s Word and call for policies that reflect His unchanging design.
