The Barna Research Group recently surveyed professing Christians and found that less than 10% had a thoughtful and consistent understanding of their biblical faith.
Because of this, today’s believers think and live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life’s ultimate purpose really is.
In Romans 12:1-2 we are instructed to “not be conformed to the world but to be transformed by the renewal of our minds”. If our hearts and minds are not being renewed we will be unable to fulfill Jesus’ command to be His ambassadors in this needy world.
The Truth Project challenges everyone to consider the claims of Christ and their implications and applications in our every aspect of our life and thinking. See below: trailer of this series and a short clip from each foundational area of life.
This 13 week DVD series is intended to be used in a small group setting. It lets us join Dr. Del Tackett as he teaches his students each week. The series incorporates fascinating interviews with leading Christians and atheists highlighting the various perspectives that are prevalent in our culture. After the video presentation there is a lively thirty minute question and discussion time.
This program will challenge and expand your thinking about the integration of your faith and the whole of life. It is suitable for Christians and non-Christians alike.
The presentation and discussion lasts about 90 minutes and is usually hosted at someone’s home, business or church.

The mission of the VIRGINIA CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE is to promote moral, social and scientific issues we face today from a Biblical point of view. In addition we will refute and oppose, not with hate, but with facts and humor, the secular cultural abuses that have overridden laws and standards of conduct of the past. We will encourage Christians to participate in these efforts through conferences, development of position papers, booklets and tracts, radio/TV spots, newspaper ads and articles and letters-to-the editor, web sites, newsletters and providing speakers for church and civic meetings.
