Bishop Dean B. Nelson, National Chairman for the Douglass Leadership Institute, would like to invite you to join him for a coalition-building conference like no other! “Our Faith, Our Family, Our Freedom” will feature remarks from national leaders like Fox Sports Analyst Chris Broussard, Woodson Center President Bob Woodson Sr., Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins Bishop Wellington Boone, and many others as they impart the vast wisdom they offer. Attendees will gain practical insights and valuable knowledge to impact our culture with righteousness and justice.

Faith is at the center of everything we do at DLI, and attendees will be blessed with the musical ministry of Eddie James. Eddie James is an internationally renowned worship artist, he releases his sound of worship to many of the world’s most impactful ministries including Bishop TD Jakes, Perry Stone, and Bethel Music. His songwriting, production, and artistry have carried his music to the top of Billboard Charts. “I Am”, “Lord, You’re Holy”, “Psalm 23”, “You’ve Been So Faithful”, “Breakthrough” and “Freedom” are just a few of the songs for which he is known.

The conference will feature remarks from some of our key partners on matters of cultural relevance. With faith at the center of our community, speakers and panelists will discuss the state of religious liberty in our nation, and the ongoing fight to preserve it. Building on the massive popularity of DLI’s recently released “Black Family Report”, prepare to hear insights on the effort to preserve and affirm the Black Family Unit. We will also discuss the importance of a Kingdom Coalition Culture and its role today.

Presenters will also educate us on the state of Freedom in the United States. Learn about the efforts to ensure that our elections are secure and the fight to ensure every voice is represented in our voting process. Attendees will be updated on key social policies, including the fight for the sanctity of human life and criminal justice reform in the context of the law.
