Did you know that the diversity chief for the Defense Department’s K-thru-12 school system once tweeted, “I’m exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions.” She also tweeted, ““[T]his lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too… I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS… [W]e are not the majority, we don’t have power” – the implication being that black people can’t be racist, which is crazy, they most certainly can.
‘CAUdacity’ is a play on Caucasians with the audacity born of so-called white privilege.
The diversity chief deleted her Twitter account, trying to cover her tracks, but House Republicans found out about it and demanded the Pentagon investigate, which the Pentagon has agreed to do.
But don’t hold your breath.
It’s most likely this Woke Pentagon we’re stuck with for now will end up minimizing the whole thing or, even worse, congratulating the diversity chief for her courage to tell the truth and for bringing people together with her divisive rhetoric.
Concerns about the Woke Pentagon destroying our military didn’t begin with the discovery of the diversity chief’s tweets. One observer recently looked at the actions of the Biden Pentagon and said “the era of wokeness permeating all branches is impacting unit cohesion and combat readiness to such a degree that many … worry about America’s ability to wage war effectively when required to do so.” The Secretary of the Navy recently wrote about his accomplishments after one year on the job, citing progress on sexual harassment, mental health, spouse employment, and other such issues. Critics pointed out he talked about everything except naval power and war-fighting capability.
In previous commentaries I’ve given you numerous examples of Wokitude taking over the military. Unfortunately, it’s still going on. Here’s the latest:
Recently obtained government records show the depth of communist-inspired Critical Race Theory (CRT) instruction at West Point. There’s even a slide entitled “Modern Day Slavery in the USA”. Kinda makes you want to go out and defend your country, doesn’t it?
The Pacific branch of the Air Force, which faces off with China, just banned all references to race, age, and gender in order to improve lethality. ‘We must embrace, promote and unleash the potential of diversity and inclusion,” an Air Force email said. I thought the Air Force was supposed to unleash bombers and missiles when called upon to do so, but I could be mistaken about that.
And, as usual, communist-inspired transgenderism is front and center. The Biden administration ordered last year that transgenders be allowed to serve openly in the military. As a result, it is now mandatory that transgenders be allowed into male barracks, bathrooms, and shower facilities, even if they haven’t had their surgery yet. So there you are, some private with no choice standing in the shower next to a transgender with female genitalia and, if you don’t like it, you’re subject to disciplinary action. So much for unit cohesion, there are more important things when you’re staring down the barrels of enemy guns, or so the Woke Biden Pentagon thinks. In case you don’t know it, it is a communist technique to deliberately introduce ideas that break everything down so communists can usher in the revolution. It’s called the ‘Hegelian Dialectic’ and it’s no secret.
But that’s not all:
Drag Queen Story Hour for children may have been cancelled at Ramstein Air Base in Germany,
but the Woke Air Force didn’t give up.
It recently put on a drag show at a family festival at a base in Virginia. Meanwhile, the Navy announced it means business on preferred pronouns. Deliberately mislabel a transgender service member and you will face disciplinary action.
I’ve mentioned the effect all this has on morale and unit cohesion. But stories continue to come in about how it is damaging recruitment. The Army is having its worst recruitment year in 50 years and expects to be 40,000 soldiers short in three years. Feel safer now? The Army is shifting $1 billion to recruitment to compensate, and laying plans to rely more on reserves. A billion dollars will buy a lot of air time. I can see the ads now – ‘Be all you can be’, if you know who you are in the first place, don’t mind being used as a political pawn in the coming revolution, and would rather chase rainbows than fire a gun. Yep, a billion dollars ought to help recruitment immensely.
Retired military officers have been asking West Point about Critical Race Theory, political activism, and the other ways in which the academy has gone Woke. They’re not getting any answers, which is not surprising. Power concedes nothing, even if there is a demand. (Apologies to Frederick Douglass.) So jam it to us while you can, Democrats, the reckoning is coming in November.
