Friends,

No doubt you have seen the headlines in the news over the last five days: “Herring to Back Same-Sex Marriage” and “Virginia to Fight Gay Marriage Ban”.  There are countless emails, blogs, postings, news articles and T.V. spots and Facebook Chatter about this attack on our Commonwealth – legally and morally.  There will be much about the legal aspect of Attorney General Herring’s actions, but little if any of the moral consequences of the Commonwealth of Virginia sanctioning homosexual marriage. See our Press Conference for details.

Take a moment and ponder what is happening to our Biblically based Christian culture.  We are a Commonwealth and a Nation established on Christian Biblical principles.  This is an irrefutable fact of truth.  Irrefutable!  All “law” is based on the “moral values” of those making the laws.  Our Nation is the only civilization/Nation, created by the moral “law” of the inspired word of God (The Father of Jesus Christ) as written in the Holy Bible.

The laws of man cannot and will not ever supersede the Word of the Lord.  The Lord’s Word never changes.  From the time of Moses until the second coming of Christ, the Word is unchanged.  God said in the book of Leviticus that both homosexuality and bestiality are an “abomination”.  God’s Word stands today as it stood in the time of Moses.

We would appreciate your donation.

Today men and women take “pride” and “celebrate” a life style that God says is an “abomination”.  Many who call themselves “Christians” have chosen to “opt out” of parts of the Bible that do not fit with their “beliefs”.  Many “Christian” denominations have “opted out” and chosen to follow a “social God” rather than the “Revealed God” of our Holy Bible.

Most of our elected leaders profess to be “Christians,” yet they, without fear of consequences, vote against the moral law of the Holy Bible.  Elected leaders, “pastors”, judges, lawyers and others have chosen to make homosexual activity a “moral” activity.  They have turned their backs on God’s “Inspired Word”!!  God will hold them accountable for their wickedness.

Now what can we do, you do?  Christians who actually believe in the Biblical principles of the Holy Bible need to take a stand for what they believe.  Now is the time to take that stand!

Please consider taking time – right now to – write, to call or to do something to stand for God’s definition of morality and marriage.

Email your letter of support of Biblical marriage to VCA.  We will inform the press of the overwhelming support of marriage as defined by God.

It will only take a moment to respond to this email.  Thank you for taking a stand for God, His word and His definition of marriage.

About the Author

Virginia Christian Alliance
The mission of the VIRGINIA CHRISTIAN ALLIANCE is to promote moral, social and scientific issues we face today from a Biblical point of view. In addition we will refute and oppose, not with hate, but with facts and humor, the secular cultural abuses that have overridden laws and standards of conduct of the past. We will encourage Christians to participate in these efforts through conferences, development of position papers, booklets and tracts, radio/TV spots, newspaper ads and articles and letters-to-the editor, web sites, newsletters and providing speakers for church and civic meetings.
