  • Governor gets bill to end school mask mandates 
    RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ) – The Virginia House of Delegates Monday passed Senate Bill 739 on a party-line vote, 52-48, after it passed the Senate last week, with the goal of ending mask mandates in every Virginia public K-12 school. The bill is now headed to Governor Glenn Youngkin, who has indicated he will add an emergency clause to make the bill effective immediately. MORE.

  • Gov. Youngkin signs first bill, which supports dairy producers
    RICHMOND, VA (NewsRadio WINA)– Governor Glenn Youngkin today signed his first piece of legislation into law in a small ceremony in the Capitol.   • (US News) Youngkin to Give Commencement Speech at Regent University Virginia Gov.
    Glenn Youngkin will be the keynote speaker at Regent University’s spring commencement.  The university that was founded by Pat Robertson in Virginia Beach made the announcement on Monday. The graduation is set for May 7 before what’s expected to be more than 2,300 graduates.
