Rev. Dean B. Nelson
Dean Nelson is one of Virginia Christian Alliance’s founding board members. He works for the CareNet organization. Dean Nelson is the Executive Director for the Network of Politically Active Christians (NPAC) and an ordained minister with Wellington Boone Ministries. He is the Vice Chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation and the former National Director of Global Outreach Campus Ministries. Dean serves on the Board of Directors for the Providence Foundation and the Virginia Christian Alliance and is a graduate of the Coverdell Leadership Institute. He is a frequent conference and college campus speaker and consults for numerous political candidates and nonprofit organizations. Dean earned his BA in Rhetoric and Communication from the University of Virginia. He and his wife Julia have three homeschooled children: Michaela, Amani and Brandon.
