Prayer is powerful! Praise and worship wins battles!
We are all profoundly concerned about COVID 19- and its effects on our health, our families, our businesses and livelihoods, our liberties, and our futures. We want to see Virginia OPEN again! We want to see our land healed! This fight is a spiritual battle before anything else. As the Bible says,
For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. Ephesians 6:12 HCSB
We also know that King Jehosaphat won his battle against Moab and Ammon, when he put the Levites ahead of his army. The prophet Jahaziel told him, “The Lord says to you, ‘Do not be afraid. Do not lose hope because of this huge army. The battle is not yours. It is God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15b
This fight against COVID-19, and against the overreaching government is not ours first, it is the Lord’s first.
We will march around the Capitol, singing praises & praying on the day the General Assembly is meeting to veto or amend the Governor’s signature on this year’s legislative agenda. The Governor’s executive orders allow for exercise, and we will exercise! We will be marching 7 feet apart, not sitting in place. We will march around the Capitol on the sidewalks from 9 AM – 10 AM on Wednesday, April 22.
We will provide a prayer outline by email when you register (Free ticket option) .
