Unbeknownst to most of the community, the “sex-positive” Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) is making drastic changes to the division’s Family Life standards, goals, and objectives.
In addition to endorsing “gender combined” sex instruction, a recent School Board slide presentation details proposed subtle language revisions the belie a seismic shift in the board’s underlying philosophy regarding sex, children, and their parents.
Most disturbing, perhaps, is the ACPS decoupling of sex from marriage, as indicated in the Family Life Education Curriculum Revised for 2022-2023 School Year.
While ACPS formerly promoted “The value of abstaining from sexual activity until marriage,” that phrase has morphed into “The value of family.”
In its place, an amorphous goal, “The value of postponing sexual activity,” has been added.
The previous ACPS Family Life Education “Value Statement” and related sub-points have been entirely removed from the document. Many of these expunged bullets obviously are Biblically inspired and were listed as “core values” to be developed in-class by teachers:
- Self-esteem/Self-respect
- Justice
- Temperance/Self-control
- Virtue
- Honesty/Integrity
- Industry
- Fairness
- Responsibility
- Loyalty
- Love of Country
- Concern for others
- Respect for dignity, worth, rights & freedoms of all persons
An ongoing battle being fought by the Marxist education establishment is manifest in this document by the nearly complete elimination of the term “parents”—in favor of the term “families”—when referencing the responsible entity for decisions related to the upbringing of children.
In other words, through the eyes of the ACPS, children, as part of their own families, are now responsible to themselves—at least partially— in the making of referenced decisions and judgements.
Finally, a significant modification has been made in regard to students “conflicted” over their “sexual identity”:
No longer will sexually confused youth be directed back to their families or clergy for values clarification, but rather by implication, that duty will now be handled by government school agents (teachers, administrators, counselors, etc.).
The morally debased Albemarle County Schools, Albemarle County School Board, and ACPS Superintendent Matt Haas, are working like demons to manipulate the sexual destiny of children committed to their care. Efforts to deprecate the role of parents by school teachers and principals have been clearly exposed. Titilation and sexual grooming continue unabated in Albemarle County Public Schools.
Given all of the above, parents would be well advised to “get their kids the hell out” of Albemarle County government schools before their children are completely consumed by the depravity promoted there.
