(Male cross-dressers allowed in “ladies” changing rooms at Macy’s)
The parade of hate crimes committed by homosexual bigots and their accomplices continue.

The latest is a hate crime committed against an employee at a San Antonio Macy’s whose crime was to prevent a male from using the women’s dressing room. Yes, you read that right. Because she had the audacity to think that men should not be allowed in dressing rooms reserved for females, she was summarily fired from her job.

So the corporate goons at Macy’s have now become complicit with the bigots in the homosexual lobby in adding to the string of hate crimes committed against ordinary folk in the name of sexual deviancy.

And we are hereby adding Macy’s to the AARB, the American Association of Religious Bigots, since corporate officials blatantly discriminated against this employee’s sincerely held religious beliefs in violation of the company’s own policy against religious discrimination.

Here’s an excerpt from a press release from Liberty Counsel:

A young woman was fired from a Macy’s department store for refusing to violate her religious beliefs by permitting a young man dressed as a woman from entering the women’s dressing room. Natalie Johnson claims she saw the young man walk out of the women’s fitting room and politely told him that he could not go back in because it was for women only. The cross-dressing young man claimed that he is a “female.” Johnson said that he was wearing make-up and girl’s clothing, but clearly he was a male. The cross-dresser was accompanied by five other individuals. The group argued with expletives that Macy’s is LGBT-friendly, to which Johnson replied that Macy’s is also non-discriminatory toward religion, and that it would go against her religious beliefs to lie that he was a woman or compromise with homosexuality. The group then demanded to speak with a manager.

We would appreciate your donation.

When Johnson was confronted by her employer, she explained that she could not allow a male to change in a female’s fitting room. Johnson’s boss referred her to Macy’s LGBT policy which allows “transgender” people to change in any dressing room they want. However, Johnson pointed out that the same policy also protects against religious discrimination and, in this case, it protects her right to her beliefs that were being violated. The manager demanded that she comply with the LGBT policies or lose her job. Johnson refused to go against her sincerely held religious beliefs and was terminated from her job.

Note the following definition of a hate crime (emphasis mine throughout):

“A hate crime is usually defined by state law as one that involves threats, harassment, or physical harm and is motivated by prejudice against someone’s race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation or physical or mental disability.” – USLegal.com

This action on Macy’s part was clearly motivated by its prejudicial bias against this woman and her religious convictions. To be told you will lose your job unless you violate your conscience is both a threat and harassment.

“Harassment…is generally defined as a course of conduct which annoys, threatens, intimidates, alarms, or puts a person in fear of their safety. Harassment is unwanted, unwelcomed and uninvited behavior that demeans, threatens or offends the victim and results in a hostile environment for the victim.”

Well, you can’t be any more annoyed, threatened, intimidated or alarmed than to be told your job depends upon ditching everything you know to be true about gender and freedom. And talk about a hostile environment! Macy’s is now so hostile to Natalie Johnson that she can’t even go to work there anymore.

Here’s hoping Liberty Counsel successfully sues Macy’s for a boatload. Religious liberty and gender normalcy are all that’s at stake.
