Myth of Inborn Homosexuality

Myth of Inborn Homosexuality

There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end leads to destruction. (Proverbs 14:12)

Many churches and much of our society are embarked on a new course in the way they deal with homosexuality. Motivated by compassion and a desire to be open and tolerant, the homosexual person and the life that he or she lives are becoming accepted as they have never been before in any time or culture.'

Is All Sin the Same?

Is All Sin the Same?

Set Free Ministries

Many times I have stated that God does not see homosexuality as the worse sin. While I still believe this to be true. I now am wondering if in defending this concept I have watered down the truth. Let me explain what has brought me to this question.

Recently, my niece's college professor was lecturing on social concerns and tolerance. He made the statement that homosexuality was sin, but to no greater degree than eating a whole bag of cookies; God saw them both the same. Backgrounder #7372

Abstract: Teen sexual activity is costly, not just for teens, but also for society. Teens who engage in sexual activity risk a host of negative outcomes including STD infection, emotional and psychological harm, and out-of-wedlock childbearing. Genuine abstinence education is therefore crucial to the physical and psycho-emotional well-being of the nation's youth. In addition to teaching the benefits of abstaining from sexual activity until marriage, abstinence programs focus on developing character traits that prepare youths for future-oriented goals. When considering effective prevention program aimed at changing teen sexual behavior, lawmakers should consider all of the available empirical evidence and restore funding for abstinence education.

Teen sexual activity remains a widespread problem confronting the nation. Each year, some 2.6 million teenagers become sexually active--a rate of 7,000 teens per day.[1] Among high school students, nearly half report having engaged in sexual activity, and one-third are currently active.[2]

Dads & Moms – The Responsibility is Yours To Keep Your Daughter Safe From The Boys

The chances that your children can grow to a healthy, moral person in this culture are very  slim.   We   can’t   blame it all   on   demonic   forces,   the ACLU,   the   Supreme Court, Hollywood or   the Democratic Party.   It is   basically   a   failure of   parents   to   control   the environment in the home and the outside activities of their children.

Yes, we have very little control over a school system that provides condoms, takes your child    to   the   abortion clinic  without     your   knowledge      and    teaches     them    that homosexuality is acceptable. We have little control over the vile sexual debauchery that flows   from   Hollywood movies   and   TV programs   and now the computer over the  Internet. No wonder so many kids wind up sexually promiscuous.
